Lighthouse Tavern is a fully licensed Country pub & Restaurant situated on the Birkenhead Estate, Gansbaai which is 30 minutes drive from Hermanus. The property is located in natural surroundings and is environment, pet and children friendly with the Danger Point lighthouse close by. We welcome all pets and have dogs of our own which love to interact with other furry visitors. Our facility has play areas for pets and children to enjoy the natural outdoors of fynbos, wild birdlife, etc. We are very proud of the fact that our facility is in the middle of a nature conservation area and we ask that all wildlife will be respected. Our facility consists of a quaint pub/ restaurant which blends itself to a cozy fireplace in the winter months and has TVs for the much watched sporting events. We also have another dining room which accommodates 35 people. The outdoor facility consists of a pool, braai areas and outdoor tables to enjoy your meals during the lovely summer months and on a good winter's day. We also offer comfortable accommodation which overlooks the pool area and our rates include bed & breakfast.
