Crazy Horse Restaurant has been the brain child of owners Jeanette Louw and Kiwi husband, Peter McCracken (Chef) for quite some time. They have wanted to open a restaurant in Hermanus after visiting family 5 years ago but needed something different to offer the locals and tourist alike. Crazy Horse is styled on a "Western Cowboy Saloon" theme offering an entire dining experience, from the deco which helps being in the beautiful old historical building at 3 Long Street Hermanus, to the country and western music, to the top class cuisine that Peter has created using his 30 plus years' experience as a successful chef/restaurateur within New Zealand, Australia and Europe. The menu has been designed around simple comfort food, offering great value for money with maximum flavors, which stems back to Peters years growing up in rural New Zealand, whose mum fed 4 hungry boys, 3 square meals a day and complained that "Too Much Never Seems to be Enough" hence the restaurants moto, "Too Much Ain't Enough" Between Jeanette's front of house skills and Peter's kitchen skills, they hope you will enjoy their hospitality as much as they enjoy bringing it to you at Crazy Horse Restaurant...."Where the Fun Never Sets"
