Wow what a gorgeous place, excellent service and great Vietnamese cuisine. I highly recommend the prawn dim sum and the panecotta – will definitely go back when again in Hermanus
Three main meals where dry and clearly reheated food . All three were form the acclaimed 7 year favorites? The staff was friendly and it’s a interesting venue but the food was terrible and the price point high , especially for portion sizes. I would describe it as a bad tapas restaurant.
Sat outside in the courtyard under the trees which was lovely. We had the garlic pita bread and the tempura hake with the soy sauce dip. The food was tasty and hot but the portions are on the small side. Service was very average and the food took a long time to arrive, probably about 45 minutes. Prices are above average and no mints with the bill. All in all I was not blown away by the experience, pity.
Superb hidden gem in Hermanus. Great setting warm, cozy , friendly staff and tasty food. Recommend the Asian style fried Hake & chips. If you’re ever in Hermanus, give this a try!
