Always busy and frequented by all those coming to do whale-watching. Service is quick and efficient. The food is splendidly prepared and tasty. The beer on tap is cold and very tasty!
We were just there this evening 11/03/18 at 21:15 and no one acknowledged us at all we just walked in and stood there waiting to ask for a place to sit , the waiters and waitress were just looking at us until we walked out. Not sure why we were not acknowledged while the entire crew was walking past us , at some point I felt that it’s becoz they didn’t want to save black people real quick than the others but then again maybe there was just too busy . Very disappointed, u can ask about 3/4 of your stuff they saw us .
The food is fresh and extremely tasty. The creamy garlic mussels are some of the best I have ever had and the amatriciana pasta was divine. I will most certainly be back next time I am in the area. The service isn’t amazing and a little slow but the food more than makes up for that.
This place has some yummy food but there are much nicer places in Hermanus! I would say this place is definitely over rated, the menu has a good amount on offer but nothing that really jumps out.
