On arrival, no real welcome. The waiter could hardly crack a smile and was unbelievably rude. After waiting 45 min for a breakfast, we FINALLY received an excuse for strands of bacon (more fat than bacon), incorrect bread selection, overcooked beef sausage and no choice offered on starch and/or salad for a Tramezzini. The prices are rediculously expensive, paying R40 for one Hot Chocolate. Maybe its just the holiday prices and service, but Le Rêve will not easily see me again.
Oysters scored a 5 !. Open air and metres from crashing waves makes this an experience to be remembered for a long time. Protected from the wind but unrestricted views of the ocean. A lively holiday vibe and we quickly fell into the atmosphere charm. Service was good and the waiter was smiley and friendly. The oyster starter was out of this world. Freshness personified. Huge. We followed them with ribs and a seafood salad. The quality of the main courses was good and everything was well presented . Not a cheap meal but worth the expense.

Warm welcome at a beautiful setting. Service wasn’t that great and we had to send some of the food back to the kitchen as the chicken was over cooked.(rather burnt) The only thing that was memorable was the warm welcome when we arrived. Will I be back???? Maybe for lunch but not for breakfast.
Mmm calamari at last! Fresh as can be! Lovely restaurant, amazing view with sunset. Friendly & helpful service & our doggy could join. Enjoy!
