My favourite vegetarian place in Cape Town. The food is delicious and the soya chicken is the best I’ve ever had. Since I discovered Maharajah years ago I’ve eaten there at least once a month. Must try: soys chicken, potato samosas. Beware: the hot is HOT, even for me.

Neat, clean takeaway spot with plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, including some we’ve never seen before such as the soya chicken bunny. This was really mild even though we ordered medium. The portion size is good though and the price isn’t bad (R55). We also had the potato samoosas which was packed with a tasty filling and had a nice crisp to it. The spring rolls had a yummy mixed veg filling. They also sell frozen soya prawns and chicken which is hard to come by. Parking and access to the place may be a bit difficult but you can park in the Pick n Pay and walk.

Visit here for Indian food. It is a small joint.Tried samoosa, Dal Makhani, Roti. Those who love Indian food will definitely like this place.Staff was very polite and staff was good.
