Being in grandwest I can appreciate that they open late. I don’t think I’ve been there before 9pm. The coffee shop is a nice little spot after a concert and the rest of the food court is packed. Had their choc moccha gourmet milkshake. It was expensive and I was surprised at the small portion and lack of presentation. The coffee tends to be burnt. That said, the only reason I gave a 3 is because of the staff. They work hard and they work long hours.
Terrible shocking service. Took 10 mins for my order to be taken. 20 mins for my cappuccino to arrive, I ordered rooibos tea for my daughter and they took a further 15 mins. They then brought the teapot with no cup or milk. Then brought a cup after requesting. Still no milk. Eventually the milk came and it was OFF!! Each time I had to get up twice to go and find out what was happening with the order. After they took the tea cup away with curdling tea in it they didn’t bring more milk or another cup. I had to actually ask for another after a further 10 mins of waiting. It is such a pity because the coffee is actually good. I will never go there again. Terrible. Worst experience of my life.
Terrible service – we waited 20 minutes for a waiter who did not know the menu at all. The coffee was cold by the time it got to us and the cream for our scones still frozen. The scones were just as terrible, crumbling apart – did not taste great. Will avoid this place in the future!
