I didn’t enjoy my visit to Cappello purely because of the poor customer service that this place offers. My group of 5 decided to pop in for drinks for the evening. We went to the bar, ordered, drinks were sub-standard but passable. The deciding factor was the fact that we were refused to be seated; we were first told that tables are VIP and in order to qualify as VIP we need to order a bottle (we all have different tastes: sober driver drinking coke, whiskey and water drinker, beer tanker, and us 2 chikititas are cocktail-aholics so buying a bottle of one drink is ridiculous). After standing around aimlessly for a while, we finally found a table for ourselves, sat down with out drinks only to be told that the table is reserved and we need to move. I’m actually disgusted that paying customers get treated like this. Cappello, if this is your policy, please relook at it – really was a downer on what was supposed to be a good night for us in Cape Town.

Excellent lively ambience. The live music was one of the best. Great place to hangout with friends over drinks and music. Reasonably priced. Food was quite good. You could also enjoy sheesha there.
