Went to Signal Hill Lounge & Terrace for dinner (something casual). Waiter was friendly and took our drink orders. Drinks received, we placed our food orders. Please note that the menu’s variety of meals is not the same as the main restaurant. The food arrived and I noticed that wings I ordered were looking a bit bland. Had my first bite and noticed that it was not cooked thoroughly. I sent it back and opted for calamari. I must say that the time it took for the food to arrive was a tad bit too long.
Went here after work with some colleagues. The setting seems to be Indian themed with a hookah pipe on every table (extra cost to use it). We had drinks and cocktails. I had a strawberry daiquiri and a long island ice tea, both of which were good.I ordered the tempura hake. The hake itself was really delicious, but sadly the fries were slightly undercooked and oily.Service was slightly slow (from the guy who strongly resembles Arsenio Hall). I would give them a 3.5, but can only select 3.
We had my sister’s 21st here and it was fantastic! The food, the vibe and most of all, the service. We had a set menu for the evening but the tastiest thing we had was the mashed potatoes, they were amazing! Everyone was raving about it 🙂 other than that, a lovely place to hang out for shisha and a light meal. I really love their arancini – probably some of the best in Cape Town!
I came here for my birthday and never again. The waiter was terrible, the food was not up to standard and the waiting time for our food was so long. I’ve previously been here and it was okayish , however, the more i came here , the less appealing this place was for me. It’s a pitty because this place has so much potential.
What a great venue. This place has amazing views, unfortunately the food is incredibly average and boring. Even the hookah/ shisha is not at all great.
