[spasie], Cape Town's most enchanting underground restaurant offers guests the opportunity to experience something new, exciting and fresh every week as our own executive chef, Nicholas Charalambous, and our guest chefs showcase their talents, skills and creativity. [spasie] can best be thought of as a blank canvas, a collaborative space that transforms each night with a new chef, new menu. Our concept is simple - each week, South Africa's top chefs and young, rising stars to come in for two-nights only and create a custom menu just for you. We call this our Chef's Table and bookings are limited to no more than 30 guests for this intimate food and wine experience. On Wednesdays, [spasie] hosts Cape Town's first invitation-only gourmet speakeasy where guests can expect a more casual atmosphere but still an incredible food experience. Add to that some incredible wines from local, boutique producers and hand-crafted cocktails by our barman and you've got a winning evening. On Saturdays, our executive chef Nicolas Charalambous takes guests on a curated journey through food and wine that can best be described as personal, intimate and absolutely amazing. Nick prides himself on using only the freshest, most ethically sourced meats and produce and creating a menu based on seasonality to create true magic on the plate.
