So sad about this as I’d been looking forward to coming here for dinner and chose it over Posticino (a gem) this evening. Ambiance was sweet, service was good, but the food did not live up to expectations at all 🙁 Unfortunately my pizza was cold, the cheese upon it had congealed and the base had the texture of a frozen store bought product. My boyfriend’s veal was covered in a deliciously garlicky sauce in an attempt to disguise the bland, tough meat, and was accompanied with mushy almost Chinese-style noodles. If looking for Italian food on Main Rd, head over to Posticino rather.

By the time they were finished, I wandered over to check if the other 3 would be served. They were eventually. The last time I was here about 12 years ago, we had the same experience. I won’t be back.
Very cosy authentic-feel spot. Pizzas very very good, wood fired thin base, perfect topping ratio. Good wine selection. Great value. Could add a bit more ambience eg lighting/candles, music etc.
The restaurant just works. Great service, great food and it is warm inside; perfect for Winter. Pasta is homemade and the beer is cold. Don’t be shy, just give them a try.
