One of my favourite breakfast spots in Franschhoek. Beautifully green garden environment which creates the reality of languid mornings in the soft sun while overlooking some gorgeous mountains – perfect, which is the reason for my four stars!
My husband and I enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Bon Bon this morning. I enjoyed a croissant with wild mushrooms (mushrooms amazing), my husband had good ol’ scrambled egg and bacon (also great), good service and coffee. We enjoyed sitting on their patio over looking the garden and water feature. Heaven.
I asked Cafe’ Bon Bon whether they could accommodate 10 of us for my friend’s birthday breakfast. They went out of their way to make it a special occasion.Our waitress was friendly and efficient. Our food all arrived within minutes of each other, all cooked as we asked, plated well and all still hot. The coffee was excellent. The chef even made a special birthday cake, beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and fruit.Taking into consideration the serene environment under the trees, it was altogether a really special day, thanks in the most part to Cafe’ Bon Bon.
We went for breakfast for our 1st visit to Cafe Bon Bon. From making the reservation to arriving at the restaurant was very pleasing. The service was quick, friendly and efficient. The breakfast the standard offerings but very delicious and wholesome. The farm itself is most beautiful and we will be returning to hopefully visit for dinner one day.
