Second stop on our franschhoek day. Absolutely gorgeous. A beautiful place, stunning views. Superb wines. The pinot noir unwooded, Belle roseand tranquille my favorites. A pity we had just eaten at our first stop as I would’ve loved to have tried their small plate set menu. Definitely going again but this time on an empty tummy.

I cannot fault anything!We took guests from Europe to this restaurant and they had very high expectations!Sunday lunch is a set menu, with wine served with each dish. Not too expensive given you can drink as much wine as you can with the meal and the food is exceptional quality.The view was excellent; weather great to sit outside. In fact the whole experience is different inside (formal and cosy) vs outside (less formal).I was impressed that the waiter could organize for my baby’s milk to be kept in the fridge while we were there and the kitchen washed her milk bottles so I didn’t have to carry dirty ones around for the rest of the day. It was a little extra effort that went a long for this mom!! The service was exceptional and our guests were satisfied and happy their expectations were exceeded!
