Great wine tasting experience. The Malbec is amazing. They do pairings with chocolate and mini pizzas too. Highly recommended! Also: they are open till 5pm daily, not 4pm as shown in the Zomato app.
La Couronne stills seems to be finding their feet as a tasting destination. They deserve to be on the map in my opinion, particularly due to their great and friendly service and knowledge. We tried their pizza and wine pairing, which was fun. There’s some good views, although the decor is quite confusing. Worth a visit.

This was our second to last stop on the wine tram. The sun had finally peaked it’s head out so we sat outside looking at the vineyards. The service was friendly but also slow. We chose to have the chocolate and wine paring. We really enjoyed this as the chocolate worked well with their selected wines.
Wine and chocolate pairing at La Couronne in Franschoek. Delicious. The place was quiet and tranquil. Some music in the restaurant would have improved the atmosphere somewhat. However, still a good experience.
