Some points I have to raise that Warrant a 2 starPro’s: – good pork belly – Great views Cons: – dirty cutlery with old food still on it – Whiskey glass had old lemon bits still in it- Lamb shank promised a red wine and mushroom sauce but instead got a curried lamb shank which the chef then apologized for (still not okay) – Menu prices were different which came as a surprise when the menu came and what you thought was a R68 glass of wine was actually a R80 glass of wine with the waiter then saying , ya they just change the prices (again not okay) – Service was badThe reality is as we got there we were thinking this would be a great place to come stay for a booked, the sad truth is we won’t be coming back.

The food was not bad, the pizza was a bit over cooked and the bread on the sandwich was really crispy. The milkshakes are really good, but the cocktails were not that great. The service was really fast and the view is amazing (see photo).

Looking for somewhere to enjoy the lovely view to match superb food and wines? Then Vineyard Terrace is the answer. Vineyard Terrace provides a some good wood fired pizzas and simple dishes for any pallet. I opted was the pork belly which the meat was soft and pulling apart but the skin wasn’t crispy. But this was because it had honeycomb melted on top. My other half had a pizza with a gluten free base with was crisp and tasty. If you looking to start your meal with something different why not give a pairing a go. They have a choice of whiskey and canapé pairing, a beer tasting, a good old Gin & Tonic tasting or a good old fashioned wine tasting. While I love a good beer which is a local craft beer label called Stellenbrau, I went for the whiskey pairing. Each high end whiskey paired with a canapé. It’s a great and very different experience. Dessert was a Blondie served with a caramel topping, while good I think it needed an ice cream component. Service is friendly with no complaints. Will I go back? Yeah I’d go with my mum..

I had a great time at this beautiful restaurant. The view is fantastic, the food top class and the service beyond reproach. The have an excellent menu with some spectacular offerings. I had the privilege of enjoying the beer tasting, some tapas, the fall off the bone lamb shank and last but not least the mouth watering cheesecake. I am very impressed with the food! I was also lucky enough to sample a slice of their wood fired pizza which was awesome. The staff were very attentive and professional. I felt very well taken care off. Something I’d like to mention is their rooibos infused beer which I took quite a liking to. I cannot fault this restaurant and implore you to treat yourself to this lovely dining experience.
