Went for lunch. The service was poor and slow. The food was so little for the price and some meals I would not even dare serrve to a client. One meal arrived after everyone else was already finished. Would never visit this so called restaurant ever again or recommend it to anyone.
I’ve been there twice. The 1st was for an end of year function on 3rd of December. They had a cash bar which was great. There was a set menu that we had already chosen from starter, main and dessert. We had a nice choice. We opted for bruschetta starters, chicken schnitzel for main and warm brownie with ice cream for dessert. The portions were a nice size so I needed up giving halfto my husband. The staff were friendly. The venue was clean and air conditioned.The 2nd time was another end of year breakfast with girlfriends. Again, lovely setting, friendly staff and an expensive lovely breakfast. 3 of us chose the simple breakfast of egg, toast, bacon and sauteed tomato slice. I added bacon. We each had cappuccinos, teas and at the end of the morning, our bill came to R280 in total. I really recommend them. Their service can be a tiny bit slow but it’s worth it..

Wednesday night Burger specials (2 mouth-watering burgers for R65) are not to be missed! If at Butterfly World for an outing, I definately recommend De La Paix for lunch. Service is a little slow but the quality of the food is out of this world.
