Beautiful location! The breakfast was really amazing – perhaps just too small in portionsize. We all left quite hungry to be honest. But delicious none the less. Calm and relaxing experience

Service was very bad, waited 1 hour and only received water in that time. People who sat down after us started receiving their food. We followed up with waiter after an hour and only then did they inform us that they didn’t have the ingredients for the food that we ordered. I think this place is deteriorating and they running on limited staff. I don’t recommend this place.

*didnt eat here, only did a beer tasting*LOVE this venue – wow wow wow!We sat under the trees for shade in the most beautiful little outside area, and it was so wonderful. Can’t say much about the service because we ordered at the bar and you get cards with the beer info on them (not that this is a problem, sometimes it’s nice to just sit by yourselves and relax) but the staff did seem very friendly when we did interact. The beer was really interesting and I would love to see where they go in the future.

I would like to start by saying this venue is stunning, it is absolutely gorgeous and from the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in my happy place. Ready to enjoy a perfect summers day, we ordered some drinks as well as a jug of water. After about half an hour (it was a very hot day of 35 degrees), our drinks finally arrived minus the water. After following up a few times, the water arrived an hour after ordering without any glasses. We waited another 5 minutes for those. One of our guests was starving and ordered a starter of crumbed mushrooms. These took a very long time to prepare but when they arrived, we were all quite shocked. In the very fancy Le Cruesset pot were 3 tiny grilled mushrooms. No crumbs, sauce or anything. Just 3 teaspoon sized mushrooms. Upon complaining about this, the waiter apologized and said there was a misunderstanding. Odd since the only mushroom dish was crumbed mushrooms. This was however replaced correctly and the guest was happy. Service overall was pretty horrendous. Everytime we needed service, we would have to go into the restaurant and try find someone to order drinks. At one point we ordered 3 beers. Two of them came and looked the same but the third was a completely different colour and appeared to be a different beer which we pointed out immediately and the waiter first tried to convince us it was the same. Then onto the food. Overall the food all looked and tasted great. Sadly service was still a complete mess. We ended up having 3 separate sittings of lunch, with almost an hour between the first and last person getting their meals. The last lady’s meal was clearly forgotten about and only after numerous requests, did one of the guests at the table get up to actually go to the kitchen to see what the problem was as there were no staff around to ask, did he walk in on an argument between staff of who would be taking the food out as none of them wanted to. We ended up just getting it ourselves. The venue and food were both great, it was really a pity the service was so bad as it really put a damper on the day. To make matters worse, we were also charged for items that were not in stock on the bill.

WOW!!! What a relaxing experience. We decided on breakfast and beer tasting with a draught afterwards. Strongly recommend the American Style Pale Ale. The service was perfect, the setting is beautiful, the food is fresh, and the sounds of the Weaver birds and frogs are just so soothing. A perfect mix between up market deli dining and an outdoor experience. We will be back for the wine tasting soon!
