Stop no.2 (Bellevue first). Was lovely. Beautiful estate, pretty courtyard for lunch. We did the premium tasting. Some were good others not so much. R75 for 6 tasting, fee forgone on purchase of bottle.We had the viniters platter: uhm, @ R160 Ive had much better for less but it was nice. Just very little quanity, there were 2 pieces of salami and 2 slices of parma ham. A little for 2 people. Snoek pate amazing and they had this seeded loaf that was great(again only 2 slices), we asked for more.Nice place, service good just overpriced for what was received i think.

We enjoyed the tasting at Hartenberg just off Bottlary Road. The wines are divine and of great complexity. My favorite was the Cabernet Savignon Shiraz. It’s very beautiful and tranquil and home to cute very friendly baby peacocks;) we wanted to have lunch but the kitchen was closing and didn’t want to accept one of the orders.
Absolutely loved the tasting experience. I wish I remember the lady who did the tasting but she was very witty and funny and new a lot about the wine. What a great experience.
Hartenberg Tasting Room is lovely. Not only is their selection of wine tasty, but the staff really know what they are talking about and are super passionate about the estates wines. It is a friendly, relaxed setting and a great place to visit – to drink wine and to eat. Their restaurant and picnic areas are beautiful in the summer.
