I have been coming to this bistro for a long time and I must say that not only is there a beautiful garden which you can enjoy but there is even better food and great service. Food is superb, I had the charcuterie platter and it was a 10 out of 10. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys good food, a good view and great service.
We popped in after a wine event to enjoy some hot coffee and a bite to eat on a cold day. We ordered cappuccinos which were delicious but a bit cold for our liking. We also tried the scones and the blueberry muffin which were warm, fresh and so tasty! The service was good. We love the view of the garden an the nature feel with the chickens all roaming freely. It was a lovely visit and we like to pop in to the rose store afterwards. We have been here before to try their milkshakes and I am absolutely inlove with the chocolate milkshake!
I LOVE it here. Although I know the staff – have known them for a couple of years – every visit still feels special and I always leave happy, well-fed and content. I know that the chef makes almost everything on the premises, with the bakery starting up pre-dawn every day. This might be why you are almost always waiting for a table here, with bookings often filling up the place weeks in advance. The deli has great treasures and the Stellenbrau picnic area’s ever-changing menu can be enjoyed in the lush gardens, either on blankets or at set out picnic tables. The beer’s great and Little J, their cheapest white wine, positively delightful!Did i mention that the staff is amazing? Pop in and have a beer. Best life.
