Sunday morning breakfast. Its a pretty place, service quick and friendly. Reasonably priced. Quite busy for a sunday as most tables were either filled or reserved. We both opted for the bacon eggs benedict on ciabatta with wilted spinach. Bf pedantic about his eggs said it wasnt the best but neither the worse. I didnt enjoy the bacon, it was very oily and fatty. The portion size was way too big for me.Lovely fireplace indoors perfect for chilly mornings. Will come again for lunch or dinner

Lots of outside seating and screens to watch sport. Great for kids who want to play.As for the food, wife had the chicken salad and I had the starter poppers and wings. Food was good, poppers spicy and the wings were juicy. Their portion sizes are quite big. Service food as well. Nice place to bring the kids for some fun and a meal.

I had extra mushrooms. That was R20. Over prized. And really not good quality food! Please update the prices and menu. Skilpadvlei breakfast is now R94.
A gem of a place that ought to get the exposure and recognition it deserves! Top service and the great variety on the menu is of absolutely superb quality. Situated halfway between Stellenbosch and the metro, it is a lovely place with spectacular views where one can just kick back, relax, and forget about life’s qualms for a while. Their wines are not to be sniffed at either – especially the flagship ML Joubert red blend. Very popular over weekends, and family friendly – they have plenty of facilities to keep the kids happy, too. Conveniently located on the Polkadraai road. Highly recommend!
