This restaurant was sensational. The service was superb and the food, exceptional! I will definitely return, over and over again. Everything was made with care and love. The restaurant made sure to ask about dietary requirements . They went the extra mile for a vegan in our group. Wow wow wow! We will be back!
Determined to hit up yet another vineyard, we cruise into Boschendal on our way back to Franschhoek, seeking lunch and another flight of wine. The Werf has a gorgeous view from the windows, and even the dreary rain doesn’t make the gardens of Boschendal look any less like a fairy tale. The menu is promising, a plethora of small plates, promising creativity and with descriptions that sound like tempting tapas.
Werf @ Boschendal was a wonderful experience! We had an amazing table that looked out onto the beautiful garden. Our waiters were friendly and attentive. I loved that our waitress suggested that we order 4 different meals with sides to share so that we get to taste multiple dishes. The food and dessert was DELICIOUS! This was the best meal I have had at a restaurant in a long time. You won’t be disappointed!
Wonderful setting with forest and mountain viewes Good fresh food from their local garden. Art of customer service perfected from hostess to, waiters , manager and even the GM popped in for a chat.
Can really rate this place’s food 5stars. The food was amazing. We had a 4-course without a wine pairing due to us traveling from far but they have an extensive wine list as well. The staff was very helpful and well informed about Boschendal. Thanks! We’ll visit again soon!
