Such a cool place and vibe, first time coming here definitely will be back again, really good wine and service. The tables inside are a bit too close to each other the people from the other table kept on bumping into our table. Other than that was a really good evening.
Cute place to sit on the streets of stellenbosch. Really gives off a small town vibe. Drinks are very reasonable for students but twice have been served flat champagne. The waiter did bring a new glass both times though. Service here is not the best and maybe understaffed as there was only one person working on a Saturday night.
I’ve been waiting so long to find somewhere to sip on a reasonably priced glass of champagne and finally I found it! The Bartinney Bar is a quaint little establishment that makes for the perfect spot to wind down and wine up after a long day. The service is spot on and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. I’d recommend going there before the sun goes as the outside tables don’t get a lot of light thereafter. Our waiter was attentive although after pouring us each the first glass, he seemed to forget about us and that we still had the rest of the bottle. We were ok with topping ourselves up though. The meat boards are also amazing and their ciabatta bread is fresh and delicious! If you’re a bubbles fan like me and you find yourself feeling thirsty in Stellies, make your way to Bartinney!
Cosy little place for after work drinks 🙂 their wine is affordable, they have a huge variety and they offer lovely cheese and meat platters as well as other snacks. I went for some wine on my birthday and received a complimentary glass of bubbly. Definitely a winner! They also recently brought back their wine cocktails! Delicious and refreshing!
Nice little upmarket wine & champagne bar situated in the heart of Stellenbosch. Relax under the Oak trees with a glass of wine and a snack from there menu.
