Stopped there for a Weissbier and Pretzel. There was no Pretzel but I received a salt-crusted hamburger roll with butter. Why try to compete with a hamburger joint next door instead of offering some interesting German sausages and cold cuts ?
Quick bite between shows at Wordfees 2017. Friendly and efficient. Serves German food and beer at reasonable prices.
Had the burger special which included a burger, sauce, chips, and beer for R60. Such good food, great service and lekker vibe.
German themed interior with tasty and interesting traditional foods. Great beer and coffee!Great manager and friendly staff!Definitely recommend this place if you are hungry or just want to relax and have a coffee!
I like thenidea of a german themed restaurant in Stellenbosch. It needs a bit of work in terms of decor and German-ness. The food and beer and value for money on the other hand was great! Burger, chips and german beer for R49!!!
Nostalgia was the main reason we popped into this little place. We shared a delicious sandwich and a good cup of coffee. If that’s what you are looking for, give it a try.
Great pretzels and a German atmosphere with interactive waiters and owner from Wales. Stellies beer taps are also on the way. Yes please.
