Had dinner at Craft tonight with a few friends. And it was a lovely evening. I must say the ribs and nachos are the best and affordable. The staff was also very friendly.
So the location is phenomenal. The waiters are friendly. The service is a bit slow. The gin on tap is amazing.But the salad was really disappointing, the chicken salad was literally just a small flat chicken breast, half an avo and leaves. And for the price a person has to pay, I expected a decent salad.
I Have never been to craft before and planned to do Valentine’s Day there with my boyfriend after hearing so many good reviews . I called a week before Valentine’s Day to make a booking as I knew they would be fully booked if I didn’t, I phoned and spoke to a lady who even read out my name, the time, date and number to confirm everything (which gave me the impression it was secured) . On Valentine’s Day I drove all the way from Cape Town only to find that craft had no record of our booking at all !I feel extremely upset and annoyed at the situation as I had come up to stellies for Valentine’s Day only to find that, because of crafts problem with our booking we were left battling to get into any restaurant as everything was fully booked. This has made me so upset due to the poor service. Hopefully one day crafts incompetency can improve.
Awesome selection of tapas and craft beer. We like sitting outside on a busy day as it is also smoke friendly. Rustic feel and the service was great.
