I’ve always gone to DCM as a student but lately their quality has decreased. I bought hot choc for the first time this year (which I think is the best in the neelse) but I found that it was watery and flavourless. Please correct this 🙁 we really enjoyed creamy hot choc with the marshmallows we experienced last year.
The muffins are, in my own opinion, one of the biggest selling points of this little outlet! They’re big and often freshly made- especially during the lunch rush and when the students are around. The bar-one muffin and the chocolate muffin will probably give you cavities but are totally worth the trip to the dentist for! Very reasonably priced as well so you won’t break bank if you spoil yourself to one. Just know though- they’re very rich and decadent so if you’re unable to stomach much of that then rather not buy a big muffin.
A busy little coffee outlet in the Neelsie Student Center. They have possible the largest muffins i have ever seen. The let down is the coffee itself. Cappuccinos and other espresso based drinks can be inconsistent. This could be due to coffee been ground incorrectly or not being tampered evenly as a result of the large amounts of coffee been processed. The prices are good and location is ideal. Staff are friendly and even during busy times waiting times for your warm beverage is short. There are also rumours that they serve an incredible iced coffee.
