Really really love this place. It’s just very dangerous if you’re on a tight budget because I can tell you that you will definitely get carried away and end up with toppings flowing out of your sandwich/wrap and a much larger bill than you first planned for.
Initially I thought this place was such a great concept because it allows you to completely customise your sandwich/salad/wrap and eat exactly what you feel like. However, after trying it out and having a salad, which at the time I thought was delicious, I ended up getting food poisoning. Therefore, I would suggest that perhaps Hutmakers should take their hygiene more seriously such as implementing ways to refrigerate the toppings they have to offer because currently they are on display for a whole day where they are not refrigerated, providing a warm environment for bacteria to grow. Another suggestion would be to ensure that all lettuce is washed properly instead of just deposited into the plastic containers where they are also store during the whole day. These things happen to the best of restaurants, but it’s no pleasant experience.
