The ouboet special was OK but nothing special. Rabia's kitchen is better imo.My complaint is about the chips. I bought a medium slap chips and they were real bad and soggy, this isn't the 1st time I had experienced this. Its a guess but I think they deep fry their chips and if they don't sell they refreeze them, to only deep fry them the next day again. I won't be back.

Jeff’s Place is a great place to get yourself a break time meal on a student budget when studying in Stellenbosch. They offer a variety of options, of which I would recommend their all round famous salads which are fully loaded with delicious chicken.

This seems like the go-to spot for Matie students during lunch time. Always a queue but it’s worth it. Friendly staff, huge portions and reasonable prices. What more could a budgeting student ask for when they need a food fix between classes.

Going to Jeff’s place will ensure that you get a decent sized meal! Whether it’s one of their massive burgers and chips or the ousis chicken salad, you definitely won’t leave hungry!

A nice place to treat yourself to a fast food breakfast that will let your skip lunch any day. Portions are generous and prices are not expensive at all, but not the kind of food that you can eat every day. Most of the times the chicken in the salads are dry and over cooked, or it seems like its old and was popped in the microwave to heat it up so won’t be having that any time soon. The service is quick, but not the example of friendly at all.
