Awsome place with good traditional Afrikaans food and newly added healthy options. Really a nice place for a early morning breakfast, lunch or a late afternoon cocktail.
Nothing beats their Candied bacon burger: 200g free range beef patty cooked to perfection with candied bacon, onion straws, jack cheese and an option of smokey or chilli sauce. There is a banting option served with a mushroom instead of the bun. This incredible burger is reasonably priced at R110 and then it even comes with delicious onion rings and thick cut fries.
Great food, great value. Good service and good coffee makes for a great overall experience. Keep doing what you’re doing! Will be looking for reasons to visit Stellenbosch so I have an excuse to pop in.
Very cosy restaurant with friendly service. The food is tasty and full of flavour. We tried the Pulled Pork vetkoek and loved it. We would definitely recommend the restaurant with its homey feeling.
