One of the best ways to end of a sunny Sunday evening is to stroll along the promenade with a refreshing ice-cream! We made a quick pit stop at Icezit yesterday to do just that. It seemed like lots of other people had the same idea because there was a long queue which (thankfully) moved steadily. Ordering at the till felt rushed and frantic. The place offers mainly soft-serve but there’s a small selection of gelato too. The ice-creams were okay – the vanilla soft serve wasn’t the best but it was okay, the chocolate gelato went down well and the fruity passion fruit gelato was tasty but had a weird syrupy taste.
Ah , terrible ice cream! I would give it a lower point but staff was friendly and kind. Unfortunately the taste is of artificial flavours and a funny icy consistency. I say funny because it was at the same time fluffy and full of air and hard where there were ice crystals. I tried a few flavours and ended up with a safe vanilla but I couldn’t finish it for how bad it was. Great location on the ocean , but it’s a trap, not again..
