Ordered via Mr Delivery last night and it was AMAZING. The nicest I’ve had in a long time. I ordered Chicken Chow Mein and Sweet and Sour chicken. Feeling like I could have more today!
Ordered a takeaway beef chow mein and was not impressed. The meat was dry, noodles were hard and the sauce was strangely sweet and unappetizing. The only plus was the service because the cashier was friendly and I got my food quickly so they score points for that. But otherwise I’m not impressed and certainly won’t be back.
Sightseeing at Cape Town was over by 6.30pm. Thereafter we came  to this restaurant for dinner. The ambiance like another ordinary Chinese restaurant, for 10 people to a table, we had around 8 dishes.  The usual style of Chinese food, the portions were hearty and the taste I wouldn’t complain but to say special, not really. But I really appreciated because it was the first rice meal and rice, I must have at least once a day. Service of course came on time, again, a pre-booked meal for a tour group, they were aware about.
This place is so under rated. Food is very authentic Chinese. After the close down of Mr. Chan in seapoint, this is my next go to in sea point.
