We orded from Set Menu 2, for R295 per person. Our waiter was great and attentive to everyone (even though we were there for over 4 hours). The steak was served to perfection and the desserts were not too sweet, especially the creme brulee. I think they could tweak their cocktailsa little more but understandably this is not their forte. The Greenpoint brunch has an extensive wine lists and an Amazing view of the ocean.They send reminders for reservations and do not charge a cockage fee which is an A+
We had an amazing night at Hussar Grill Green Point. We went on a Saturday night and the ambience was great, food exceptional (order the pepper sauce if you have a steak) and the service was top class. We can’t wait to go back.
I was so looking forward to eating here when my boss suggested it for a work lunch as I’ve always had a great meal at the Rondebosch branch. All of my colleagues ordered various steaks and said the food was excellent but I was very disappointed with the ribs I ordered. They were over cooked and tough and drenched in a “barbecue” sauce which tasted a lot like tomato sauce with some spice. Service was excellent so very disappointed that my food was not.
Been here a few times and have not been disappointed once. Last weekend was no exception. Food is on point. One piece of advice though, service is hit and miss. Take it in your stride as the food will make up for it.
