Been here a few times as it’s our new local. So far it’s been a bit of a miss with today’s meal for my wife and I both a not great both from a service perspective and overall meal expectation vs reality (French toast and meatball sandwich). Bumped up the rating in recognition of our waiter’s kindness in giving us 2 free coffees for an error during ordering. We will be back to sample other options in the hope we find some winners.

Stopped by for lunch at this cute cafe. Staff are very lovely and the baked goods look absolutely amazing on the counter tops. This place is clearly popular. It was packed! Not a table available and had to seat myself at the bar area – mind you it was a Monday! Decided to have the falafel pita. Falafels were great! But the flavour combination of the pita is a tad strange. The grilled veg in the pita had an Asian like flavour, then it was served with a sambal in sweet chili sauce and in the pita itself it had a tzatziki like sauce. It was like an Asian Mediterranean South African fusion and didn’t quite work. Enticed by the baked goods, I ordered a cheesecake brownie for takeaway. Yum!!! If I do return, it will likely only be for the cakes and dessert like items. The food is not quite my cup of tea.

Everything about this place is great! I love the decor. Location, vibe and the people. We had booked a table for 6 and all ordered different breakfasts. Everyone was very happy with their meals and the coffees were strong. I had the veggie and managed to eat all of it in two seconds flat. They nailed all the egg orders, which is rare.
