I didn’t expect much from this restaurant but was very plesantly surprised by the friendly staff and the delicious food which was very good value for money. A normal rough indian style – clean and casual which doesn’t look like much, but the restaurant certainly delivered beyond our expectations with the really tasty food.
Had never tried Perimas before but had a hankering for curry.The decor is very basic and the environment is not conducive to a sit in meal due to the bar flies and people gambling in the back.There is no menu to speak of; just a short list of items recited by the bar lady. (no waitresses either)If you consider a choice of basmati rice, yellow rice, roti or bunny an option; then the list is still under 10 items. Not a good start.We ordered the lamb curry with basmati rice and the butter chicken with yellow rice. The portions are teeny weeny and overpriced for the size of the portion. The taste was very mild and underwhelming – the spices were not fresh and flavourful.A thorough disappointment.
