  A great place to grab hake and some good ol’ slap chips for a casual takeout meal! Food is tasty albeit a little oily and the portions are generous so great for sharing.

  I have bought fish and chips her before and really nice end result.  However a week ago I went in to buy fresh fish at 16h30in the afternoon.  The person dealing with the raw fish was on lunch and the shop attendant was unable to help me.  No effort made to try or a suggestion of an alternative.  Just a sorry he is on lunch and there is nothing I can do.  Now,  if you going to employ staff who can’t sell your product when it’s staring you in the face, you need to reconsider this.  This kind of service is what gives your business a bad name.

  Terrible Service, I went there on Saturday 14 December 2019 @ 12h20. Placed an order for two hake parcels and kindly took a seat, waiting for my number 24 to be called out. Customers came in to collect their orders and some customers came in and placed their orders. I got very worried when I observed a customer who just came in and placed the exact same order as I did, and when the lady behind the counter shouted 2 hake and chips, this customer got up and said thank you and left. I then questioned the supervisor behind the counter whether they call out numbers or the actual orders, and she responded numbers. The next number they called out was 30, I was so frustrated and asked where is number 24. At that stage nobody could understand because they new that they have given m,y order to a customer who waited 5 minutes compared to my wait of 40 minutes and still no food. I kindly requested for my money and proceeded down the road to Manny’s Fisheries. Will never ever set foot again at Rosmead Fisheries. Most pathetic service. 0844978891

  Good fish and chips, solid portions and good quality fish. This is a Friday night vibe when you just want to lurk at home or get something quick for the kids while you contemplate your work week and realize that you’re not fully satisfied with your lot.

  This is our go-to fisheries. The overall portion size is decent and the hake is always fresh. The chips are very oily but I guess thats what slap chips are. Otherwise, good food and service. I recommend the hake and chips combo which can feed 2-3 people.
