After long travels around Andalucia El Atroje was perhaps the holy grail. Friendly, family run bodega, local ingredients simply prepared, delicious classics served fresh. Not for those afraid of oil however. Attentive service.
Had some good large toasts and hamburgers here. Good quality and fair price. Nice place with good seats outside on the street.
This is a fantastic bar/restaurant. The ambience is brilliant, the decor truly Andalucian, hanging giant hams, artwork and really welcoming, happy staff. We didn’t eat here, but went to the bar for drinks, loved it.
This is a popular spot for light bites, a beer or an evening meal, with most of the seating on the street. When you drop by for a beer, they can be generous with the complimentary snacks and the service is efficient.
This was very good but some confusion over the bill means only 4 stars. Food brilliant. Would come again but probably for drinks only.
A very picturesque bodega with a nice selection of cheeses, sausages and of course cured ham! With every glass you got a nice tapa too. A bodega you should not pass when in Capileira.
Our hotel gave us a voucher for this small bar/restaurant serving fantastic tapas with their own wines, hams and cheeses, We arrived at lunchtime and left at 5pm loaded with goodies we had bought at phenomenally low prices. The chocolate cake was particularly good!!
