Restaurant El Cercado is the best place where you can taste good grilled meats and the local cuisine of Alpujarra while enjoying a wonderful view from its large terrace. During the hot summer days you can join the pleasure of good food with that of a refreshing dip in the pool, while in winter you can sip good local wine beside the fireplace. Sitting on the terrace enjoying the sunset view while eating a delicious meal of local specialties was an experience I won’t be forgetting any time soon! Absolutely recommend this place! The food and wine was top notch and the atmosphere was lovely.

The Cercado de los Berchules has a great restaurant with good quality meat and homestyle cooking.This is ideal for families as they have childrens playground and large outdoor dining area.
We ate dinner twice in El Cercado. We chose grilled meat with vegetables and the dishes were as described though the lamb was very fatty – but that may be a local preference. The beef was tender and the vegetables were very good.
Good meat, friendly staff, rustic location. In the summertime, outside seating is available. A selection of meats is available and allows you to sample many tastes. Unfortunately, vegetarians will not be very happy with the menu.
