Barbiana is located at the top of the main square in Sanlucar. The whole place buzzes at the weekends filled with locals. Service is interesting! You have to be confident and show you want to be served as the waiters rush between the tables. Speaking some Spanish helps but they are quite patient. The food was great - a must try is the Papas Alinas con Melva, basically potatoes with onions and garlic with a lump of tuna on top.Details

As the title says you must visit this place for the potatad alinas!!They used to compete with Balbino for the best tortillitas Cameron, they seem to be pre cooked and over cooked.The waiting staff are fast.
Lots of choices of tapas, including all the Sanlucar favourites. I love Barbiana because its location has scperfect for people watching, for the really good beers and wines, but most of all for the wonderful potatoes and caballa fish dish, which they excel at.

We have had lunch her twice. Happy staff, very nice. Food good at a good price. Menu a bit limited, but all our food was good.
Visit frequently when in Sanlucar. Always great food and value. Very busy later in the evening. Octopus is great when in season, but I seem to be here later in the year most times. Must plan better!
What an amazing restaurant this is. If you love seafood then this is the place. I had langoustines that were beautiful!
