It was very busy on Saturday night in June but we were lucky to get seats at the bar to have some tapas – excellent calamares and rather tough pork, my own fault for wanting to eat meat.
Every time i am in Tarifa a visit at los melli is mandatory! Very good food, very good wine and a really authentic athmosphere!
Went with kids for some early tapas. Croquetas ricas, and fried chocos were great. Fried eggplant was good, but not anything amazing. The kids LOVED the dates with bacon!

We had a lot of good tapas here; some usual suspects and some more unique. While everything was good, the grilled artichokes were a standout. Expect a wait, but like at other places the queuing was fair.
Have been there many times and have to admit that years ago it was much better. The quality of the service and the food should definitely be improved.
