Bens d'Avall Club de Mar Restaurant in Palma de Mallorca is a lovely place with great views of the harbor and the cathedral. It might be new to Palma, but as the name Bens d'Avall indicates, there are 40 years' experience behind this latest initiative by well known chef Benet Vicens. At Club de Mar you'll find a Bistrot style cuisine - that is, a simplified version of the cuisine at Bens D'Avall in Soller. Benet explains: "The concept here at Bens d'Avall Club de Mar is to make a step forward today in the gastronomic world, to a more affordable cuisine that at the same time upholds traditions, family recipes, and especially our Mallorcan cuisine. All this forms the same basis in the two restaurants. The Bens d'Avall Club de Mar is, in fact, a bistro. So, we offer simpler food, at more affordable prices, in a more informal atmosphere - but always sourcing the best quality products.' Bens d'Avall Club de Mar has it all: free parking for clientes within the Club de Mar, a charming atmosphere in the centre of Palma and the best of Benet's cuisine at this level. A small restaurant that people may pass but i can assure you excellent food accompanied by equivalent service & a fraction of prices at main restaurants further into resort. Set back more than other restaurants so don’t have people walking past you as you dine.
