Nicolas Ruiz,is the name to be remembered as the fist of this house. After leaving his peculiar Bar Montetxe, which it was well known by the neighbors and companies of Arramele, founded with his wife Pepita Elizondo the Asador Casa Nicolas in 1960. There began the course of this couple, that in a few years they were recognized by their well-doing. Their son Pedro Maria Ruiz Elizondo followed their steps since childhood and when he took the baton, he knew how to reflect the things he had learnt perfectly, to the point that today everybody knows the Asador Casa Nicolas as the holy temple of the "chuleton". Nowadays and after 30 years, Pedro and his wife Maixa Ochoteco manage the business together with their loyal maitre Josune Zubeldia. There is something more to be mentioned: Xabier, brought up between stoves, is the promising third generation of "parrilleros". He is actually part of the staff and ensures a lot of years of well-doing.
