As this was virtually opposite our hotel we ate here twice, once for tapas and once for dinner Both times the food was very good, the wine reasonably priced and the staff friendly.
Staff helpful and menu is in English. Lots of fish dishes which is common in Bilbao. The monkfish was excellent.
We went looking for a restaurant in Old Town and began here with pintxos. Then a fellow U.S. traveler recommended a chorizo dish and a big salad. Voila, dinner! Two glasses of wine each. Reasonable too, at 28€.
