We went to a few pintxos bars and this one blurs into some of the rest in all honesty! There didn’t really seem to be anything to distinguish it.The food was fine enough but not stand out.It was standing room only.
Araba Etxea is less original than some other places in San Sebástian, but the quality of the food is high and predictably so. The chistorra, the tortilla and others are top-notch. And the have Alhambra beer which is a bonus.
Nice welcome and service, a few leaning tables outside, quite a few tables inside. Nice white wine. Fish balls and the battered prawns quite good, a couple of other bits were a bit bland.
