I visited a different branch but have to say the Basque cake was utterly delicious. Made with almonds but so light and creamy. They have a great selection of pastries.
Not in the very touristy area, they don’t speak much English. After dinner we bought a mango dessert and two “Inglesitos,” the latter of which is a basque cake/cookie named after the Duke of Wellington (Little Englishman). Worth a stop if you’re in the area.
We had a great visit to this little shop when our little family was visiting the area. The staff was excellent, the chocolate was fantastic and the value was crazy good! Definitely recommend visiting.
I just came back from the little shop where I bought a pastel vasco (basque cake) and a white chocolate and pistachio crust. They are simply so delicious! I will be back to sample more of their stuff.
During our visit we found the service friendly and helpful plus the baked goods were fresh and of good quality. The entire shop appeared clean and they had a good assortment of yummy looking baked goods.
