The steak we were served was tough, fatty and vertically inedible. We asked for some cheese sauce and the plate arrived swimming in it! Perhaps they were trying to hide the steak!!
We are vegans however the menu has a lot of meat despite that the staff were very friendly and made us vegan dishes. A great selection of wine and gin and a great atmosphere. Great for families.
Grilled cheese and garlic prawns absolutely fab. Main courses at reasonable prices. As with a lot of restaurants in El Hierro the restaurant did not open until 8 pm. A little difficult for people with strict eating time regimes but well worth waiting.
although eating well in frontera is somewhat challenging, asador artero was a find. the food was uniformly excellent, the potions huge and the service outstanding.
