Cafe Royalty does a really nice reasonably priced menu del dia. The platos combinados are really good too. Reasonably priced, nicely presented food with friendly helpful staff. They even prepared a take away for us to take onto the ferry home!

Stayed at the Bahia just along the road. Good menu, good service, good prices, speak English. Would eat there every day.
Arrived in Santander on way home via ferry. Hotel near bus station so Royalty on doorstep. Good mix of dishes, menu del dia particularly good, not cheapest but value for money until you get to arroz y leche CAKE. Stupendous! Had it twice.
