The owner of the hotel/ restaurant is an excellent chef. His food was delicious and prepared with love. It was not your typical “pilgrim” meal. He has a very nice selection of wines too. Lovely music playing in a restored stone building.
Personalized attention by owners, nice location on the outskirts of Ambasmestas. Good menu and comfortable atmosphere. The lovely old stone property is being renovated by new owners, to accommodate pilgrims and vacationers. Well worth a visit, either overnight or for a meal along the Camino.
