Basmati is a restaurant in the best part of the popular Ensanche Izquierdo district in Barcelona. It is beautifully decorated with oriental antiquities, especially from Persia and India, combined with contemporary lighting. Like the decoration, the food is multicultural, modern and based on a fusion of flavours. Its menu features a wide variety of rice-based dishes, but also all types of fish, meat, soups and salads, prepared and cooked in an innovative style but always reflecting the same cultural mix as the decoration.
