El Rac was established in 1975 in Palams, a Mediterranean town located on the Costa Brava and strongly influenced by the character of the natural and cultural setting of the Empord region. During those years which were marked by the opening-up of Spain to Europe, our restaurant adopted foreign culinary proposals such as crpes, pizzas and pasta. Influenced by the rauxa (force and passion) of the land in which it was first set up, the restaurant has continued to have its own original, informal hallmark related to local produce and above all, quality. Today, after all those years, El Rac is defined as a Mediterranean pizza restaurant with quality is its main dish. Our character and continuity over time has enabled us to provide our service to many clients, including third-generation clients. Their loyalty has allowed us to evolve and today we have a renewed and attractive service offering.
