Founded in 1963 and with over 50 years of history, Cooperativa Garriguella is the coming together of small producers and wine growers from Garriguella. It is the living testimony of a familys determination, hard work and sacrifice, a family who firmly believed in the potential of pooling resources for the improvement of agricultural jobs, the modernisation of winery machinery and the achievement of greater financial success by offering exceptional, quality products with great cultural value, and wine which symbolises their land, the Alt Empord and its origins. The Cooperative currently has 55 members and a total area of 160 hectares. Since 1975 we have been registered in the D.O. Empord and since 2013 we have formed part of the D.O. Empord Wine Route. Our agro-shop sells local products and we also have a restaurant where, in addition to our wines, you can enjoy products which are representative of the Empord region.
