Marc Gascons, who has been awarded a Michelin-Star, following the huge success of his family-run establishment in Girona has been described as fresh, young and informal, but very much Catalan and Mediterranean in style. The restaurant has a team of twenty people and delivers a seasonal menu designed for sharing, consisting of locally soured produce from the land and sea. Among the dishes designed by Gascons are: honeyed potato gnocchi with butter sauce and black winter truffle; charcoal grilled turbot with roasted leek; and grilled black kid with herbal oil. All dishes can be enjoyed with a impressive selection of wines, ranging from local Catalan to others from Spain, France and Germany.
